We’re seeking an Advisor Services Associate – someone who can provide exceptional client service and support to existing advisors and sales assistants to ensure a high level of accuracy and timely transactional processing.

What you will do

Onboarding Clients/Accounts:

  • Review NCAF documents to ensure all requirements are met and correctly completed.
  • Manage the entire client onboarding process, including KYC compliance, banking validation, and transfer initiation, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Experience with ISM and Fundserv is an asset.

Quality Control and Document Verification:

  • Perform quality checks on onboarding documents to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

SLA Commitment and Comprehensive Management:

  • Maintain and exceed service level agreements by owning and responding to requests effectively.

Training and Collaboration:

  • Provide guidance on quality control to streamline account opening processes.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Review and improve onboarding procedures regularly based on feedback and standards.

Custodian Partnership Development:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with custodian partners to improve service delivery.

Internal Collaboration for Enhanced Service:

  • Build relationships with branch partners to support transfer processes and meet SLAs.
What you will bring
  • At least 3 years of experience in onboarding and account opening.
  • Knowledge of CIRO regulatory requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Post-secondary education or industry equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years in the financial industry, preferably in a dealership.
  • Undergraduate degree in Business preferred.
  • CSC certification is an asset.
  • Experience with securities operations and back-office software, including ISM.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Relationship-building skills and a commitment to client service.
  • Ability to leverage technology and maintain follow-up systems.
  • Critical thinking and sound judgment.
  • Professionalism and collaborative working style.
  • Ability to handle high volumes and manage time effectively.
  • Active listening skills and request facilitation.

The base salary for this position ranges from $44,700 to $67,000 annually. This includes only the base salary; additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions may apply. Further details will be discussed during the recruitment process.
