Desjardins is seeking a securities advisor in Canada to help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop client relationships. You will promote and sell life, health, disability and critical illness insurance, and help clients meet financial goals through tailored solutions and strategic planning.
You will analyze client needs, present integrated offers, and stay informed about market trends to drive growth while balancing risk and profitability. Fluency in French is required.
As a securities advisor, you help serve, prospect for, solicit, and develop and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You help sell securities products and services through various distribution channels based on member/client needs and current strategies and practices. Your focus areas include discretionary management, mutual funds, exchange-traded funds and structured products. You develop and maintain personal business relationships with clients. You drive results by promoting and selling products and services in accordance with your unit’s business objectives and strategies. You balance sales objectives, sound and prudent risk management, profitability and member/client satisfaction. You work with clients with diverse needs and significant development potential for your sector. You analyze member/client needs, develop and implement personalized solutions, and present integrated service offers. Your work and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of business. You advise and assist current and potential members and clients. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with clients. You also have opportunities to establish and negotiate product and service terms. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
