Job summary

Manulife is seeking an Onboarding & Transitions Specialist to deliver an exceptional advisor onboarding and transition experience from recruitment through activation.

You will manage advisor contracting, licensing validation, transfers, carrier code setup, and system updates while coordinating with compliance, field leadership, and internal teams. This is a hybrid Canada-based role with a focus on timely activation and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance operations, onboarding, contracting, licensing, or transfers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding of new advisors joining the MGA.
• Review and process advisor contracting packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Facilitate advisor setup through WealthServ and carrier platforms.
• Partner with Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure timely activation of advisor profiles and access.
• Manage advisor transfers, branch transfers, and book-of-business transitions.
• Coordinate carrier appointments, code transfers, and advisor maintenance updates.
• Track transition activities and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Ensure onboarding and transition activities adhere to regulatory, carrier, and internal standards.
