Newmont Mining Corporation seeks a Contract Manager to oversee site contract execution in British Columbia. This role involves managing the lifecycle of contracts, ensuring compliance, and building supplier relationships. Newmont North America operations are located in British Columbia, Ontario, and Quebec with roles in operations, projects, and exploration. Regional Support is provided from our office in Vancouver.

Manage site contract execution, ensuring regional contracts are effectively managed and compliant with all relevant standards, aligning with regional and global procurement strategies and supporting the overall success of operations. We have three openings to support across our BC based sites at both Brucejack and Red Chris.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or related field (C.P.M./C.P.S.M. preferred)
Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement processes, and vendor management
Experience in contract management in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry
Skilled in SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office tools
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally
Support our Newmont-based BC sites, Brucejack or Red Chris. This role is based in Vancouver with the option to work in office or remotely.

The expected salary range for this role is CAD $83,000-$111,180. This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s pay history at other jobs, and by law, Newmont will not seek information about pay history, and candidates should not share such information with Newmont.
