A leading financial services institution in Quebec is seeking a Business Advisor to manage client relationships and review credit applications. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of relevant experience. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with credit application standards, analyzing client data, and monitoring industry trends. As a business advisor, you help serve and maintain business relationships with members and clients. You authorize credit for major accounts. You help the organization achieve results and ensure client satisfaction. You drive results by approving or rejecting credit applications up to your discretionary limit and submitting recommendations for those above your limit. You balance sound and prudent risk management, profitability and member/client satisfaction. You work with clients with diverse needs who have significant development potential for your sector. You analyze member/client needs, share analysis results and present alternatives as needed. Your work and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of business. You advise and assist current and potential members and clients. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with clients. Interpersonal savvy is therefore essential. More specifically, you will be required to:
Review credit applications and ensure they are processed in accordance with current standards and policies. Approve or reject applications up to your discretionary limit and prepare and submit recommendations for those above your limit
Collect, compile and analyze data. Prepare reports and recommendations
Serve as resource person for clients. Assess customer satisfaction and service quality, follow up and make improvements as needed
Help the organization achieve results and ensure client satisfaction
Monitor the industry to stay on top of the latest trends, opportunities and best practices in your field

What you bring to the table
Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of two years of relevant experience
