Advisor and Client Support Insurance Assistant

Winnipeg, MB and Surrounding Area – Hybrid Role (3 Days In-Office)

ITI Financial is currently seeking anAdvisor and Client Support Insurance Assistantto join our tight-knit, professional team serving Winnipeg and the surrounding area. This hybrid position requires3 days per week in the office and is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, demonstratesexceptional attention to detail, and excels incalendar and workflow management.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, experience working in financial services (especially inbanking, life insurance, and segregated fund investments), and a commitment to supporting advisors and their clients with excellence. Reporting to the Office Manager, this role focuses on new and inforce business servicing, policy change processing, and delivering a superior level of support to both advisors and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of assigned client and advisor files, recognizing urgencies, solving delays, and understanding downstream impacts oncompliance, reporting, and commission structures.
  • Work collaboratively withadvisory, support, and sales teams, as well as external strategic partners and insurance carriers.
  • Build and maintaintrust-based client relationshipsby providing proactive, clear, and timely communication.
  • Manage calendars and timelines for advisors, ensuring policy changes and client updates are scheduled, tracked, and completed accurately.
  • Process and trackinsurance applications, policy changes, investment transactions, and other client documentation efficiently.
  • Draft and format correspondence includingemails, reports, memos, and advisor/client communications.
  • Ensure sensitive information is handled withprofessionalism and confidentiality.
  • Follow up with insurance carriers and vendors to ensure timely execution of client service requests.
  • Uphold aclient-first mindsetand contribute to a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Complete additional administrative duties and projects as assigned.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum2 years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry
  • LLQP licenseand/or industry designations such asFLMI, ACS, AIAAare considered strong assets
  • Familiarity withlife insurance, segregated funds, banking products, and financial planning terminology preferred
  • Proven success managingcomplex calendars, administrative systems, and time-sensitive priorities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills andtask-tracking proficiency
  • Highly professional with excellentwritten and verbal communication skills
  • Able toproblem-solve independentlywhile contributing collaboratively within a team
  • Strong technology skills:MS Office Suite, CRM platforms, Wealthserv, APEXA, SharePoint, carrier portals, database navigation
  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in ahybrid work environment
