Job description

Your daily pursuit is helping guests find unique, locally inspired experiences and souvenirs while providing outstanding service to ensure they leave with memories that last a lifetime.

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $17.50 per hour.

When does this adventure begin?

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for summer 2025. This adventure begins early-mid August, until November 14th, 2025.

What will you do in this job?

  • Activity booking concierge
  • Uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display
  • Ensuring service is friendly, courteous and professional
  • Utilizing knowledge of Pursuit tours and attractions to cross-sell and maximize retail sales
  • Taking a genuine interest in the guest and selling products based on individual, identified needs
  • Operating the point-of-sale system with accuracy and efficiency
  • The responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
  • Keeping the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized
  • Abiding by and applying all procedures and policies as laid out
  • Communicating with co-workers and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion
  • Monitoring store security
  • Facilitating efficient inventory management and movement
  • Upholding the high standard of environmental stewardship that is expected of all employees

What skills and experience do you need for this job?

  • Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  • Attention to detail and good communication skills
  • Cash handling experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Able to take initiative on restocking, re-merchandising, and regular cleaning duties.
