Job summary

Bilinguallink seeks a senior cloud engineer to architect and operate Azure-based infrastructure, with hands-on Terraform, Ansible and Kubernetes experience. You will lead multi-cloud initiatives, design secure, scalable solutions, and guide application teams onboarding to the enterprise cloud.

The role emphasizes automation, problem solving, and strong collaboration across devops and product teams, including on-call support when required.

Qualifications

• Extensive Azure IaaS/PaaS experience and cloud design background.
• Strong Terraform and Ansible experience for infra provisioning and config mgmt.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and multi-cloud delivery across environments.
• Proficient with enterprise CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Ability to identify root causes and resolve escalated issues quickly.

Responsibilities

Job description

Skills:

• 7+ years of relevant infrastructure or software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of experience with deployment/automation/management tools such as Docker, Terraform,
• In-depth knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Networking, Storage, Firewall, Compute, Function, Backup and Azure DevOps
• K8s, Azure AKS, and Rancher.
• 3+ years of experience working with, designing, and implementing Azure cloud solutions.
• 2+ years of experience leading technical proof of concept projects.
• Automating routine tasks using Ansible, Python, Terraform and Azure CLI for enhanced efficiency.
• Must have experience working with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management, respectively.
• Experience configuring and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub actions, GitLab, Jenkins, etc. for enterprise-level deployments.
• Proficient in identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems by determining the true root cause.
• Capable of performing a wide range of complex tasks and providing support for escalated trouble tickets.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
• Scripting skills and working experience with Infrastructure as Code
• A passion for keeping up to date with the latest cloud trends and technologies.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with cloud-based solutions.
• Efficiency to work independently and as part of a team.
• Assist application teams in onboarding their applications into the enterprise cloud environment.
• Deploy and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple environments through Azure GitHub actions.

• Proficiency in multi-cloud environments, especially in GCP, is highly desirable.

• Advanced experience in large scale cloud architecture, design, and integration with a focus on automation, networking, and NextGen Firewall
• Provide off-hours support (24 x 7) as required.

Azure Must haves:

• 3+ years of experience designing and supporting Azure environments, including IaaS and PaaS.

• Understanding and working experience with MS Entra ID.
• Strong working experience using Terraform to deploy Azure Resources.
• Strong working experience using GitHub.
• Experience with of Azure PaaS services including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Synapse, Databricks, azure functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos, etc.
• Experience in designing and analyzing enterprise level Azure Architecture.
• Experience with Monitoring tools such as Azure monitor, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus etc.
• Ability to implement security measures for Azure-based applications and infrastructure.

Non-cloud specific must haves

• Experience and proficiency with Mac OS
• Hands on Kubernetes experience
• Best practice knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Good communication skills
• Experience working on an Agile SCRUM team
• Understanding that during business hours, thorough communication and presence is fully required
