Come grow with us... North American Stamping is looking to hire an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team! As a key player in the Sales Department, this position is responsible for assisting in the development of processes through design and simulation software, supporting high-potential new business, running simulations, optimizing material utilization, and developing process layouts.

Position duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Assist with setting up tool geometry, sheet bodies, and running forming simulations.
  2. Modify part models as required by customers.
  3. Analyze simulation results and recommend changes to the Advanced Process Group Leader.
  4. Support sales teams with customer technical presentations.
  5. Estimate blank sizes for customer quotes using provided software.
  6. Present material nesting options to optimize process efficiency and minimize material usage.
  7. Collaborate with engineering teams to modify and verify simulations during die development.
  8. Document research and development data following NASG standards.
  9. Manage changes systematically, ensuring files are properly archived and current.
  10. Work with all employees to continually improve quality and production processes.
  11. Propose methods for improvement, such as through a Continuous Improvement Plan.
  12. Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, and enhancements.

Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Engineering degree.
  3. Proficiency in 3D CAD programs, preferably NX.
  4. Knowledge of AutoForm simulation software.
  5. Training in TS16949/ISO14001 standards and baseline design training.
