Come grow with us... North American Stamping is looking to hire. We are seeking an Advanced Process Engineer to join our team! As a key member of the Sales Department, this position is responsible for assisting in process development through design & simulation software, supporting the NASG team on high-potential new business, running simulations, developing optimal material utilization options, and creating process layouts.

The position duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with setting up tool geometry, sheet bodies, and running forming simulations.
  • Modify part models as required by customer specifications.
  • Analyze simulation results & recommend changes to the Advanced Process Group Leader.
  • Assist sales teams with customer technical presentations.
  • Estimate blank sizes for customer quotes using provided software.
  • Present material nesting options to optimize process efficiency and minimize material usage.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to modify simulations and verify results during die development.
  • Document all research & development data in NASG standard format.
  • Manage changes systematically, ensuring files are properly organized and up to date.
  • Work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production processes.
  • Propose methods for improvement, such as a Continuous Improvement Plan.
  • Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, and improvements.

Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical Engineering Technologist or Mechanical Engineering degree.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD programs, preferably NX.
  • Knowledge of Auto Form simulation software.
  • Training in TS16949/ISO14001 standards and Designer Baseline.
