Job description

Skydweller Technologies, a leader in advanced drone exterior maintenance, is seeking skilled Drone Operators to join our growing team. We specialize in innovative solutions for exterior building cleaning, inspections, and maintenance using cutting-edge drone technology.

Position :

Advanced Pilot Drone Operator

Location :

Various locations across Vancouver and the lower mainland

Responsibilities :

  • Ability to handle physical tasks related to equipment setup.
  • Ability to lift and control a 50 foot tucker pole.
  • Operate and pilot drones for exterior building cleaning, inspections, and other maintenance services.
  • Ensure drone operations are conducted safely and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Assist in setting up equipment, including safety control zones, signage, and pedestrian management.
  • Coordinate with clients and on-site staff to ensure project success.
  • Regularly maintain drones and related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide feedback to improve operational efficiency.
  • Critical thinking ability to solve through "in field" variables.

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience with drone operations (DJI drones preferred).
  • Valid Advanced Drone operator's license is required.
  • Valid Drivers License is required.
  • Strong understanding of drone safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle physical tasks related to equipment setup.

Working Conditions :

  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Flexible schedule including evening and weekend shifts, when necessary.
  • Travelling to different job sites.
