Job summary

Petstock Group in Calgary is seeking a Groomer who will deliver exceptional grooming experiences and customer service while advancing their skills within a supportive team.

You’ll work with breed-specific styling, maintain high safety standards, manage bookings, and contribute to salon performance. The role offers ongoing training and clear career pathways across multiple Petstock salons.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional dog grooming.
• Grooming qualification preferred but not essential.
• Ability to embed strong safety practices in salon and store.
• Knowledge of breed clips and grooming styles.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy animals.
• Demonstrated experience handling live animals.
• Knowledge of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them.
• Proven ability to meet grooming KPIs through high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide full grooming services, including breed-specific styling.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and personalised grooming advice.
• Manage client bookings and build lasting customer relationships.
• Maintain high salon presentation and safety standards.
• Support the Store Manager with salon operations.
