Petstock is seeking a Groomer to deliver exceptional grooming experiences while pursuing ongoing professional development. You’ll work across multiple Petstock salons, providing breed-specific styling and trusted customer guidance in a safety-focused environment.

The role offers continuous coaching, access to advanced workshops, and a clear path into leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional dog grooming.
• Grooming qualification preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to embed strong safety practices throughout the salon and store.
• Knowledge of breed clips and maintaining grooming styles.
• Physically fit to lift and handle animals.
• Experience with live animals.
• Understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases.
• Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care and customer satisfaction.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Providing full grooming services, including breed-specific styling.
• Delivering outstanding customer service and personalised grooming advice.
• Managing client bookings and building lasting customer relationships.
• Maintaining high salon presentation and safety standards.
• Supporting the Store Manager with salon operations.
• Helping achieve salon performance goals while prioritising pet welfare.
• Collaborating with the wider store team.

• Qualification in Grooming preferred, but not essential

• Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy animals as required
• Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals
• Maintain advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them
• Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high-quality care, customer satisfaction, and strong team collaboration
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers and team members
