Job Description

What are your contributions to the team?

• Design and develop new vehicle architectures that meet regulatory and customer expectations.
• Lead physical and functional integration of vehicle systems and components from concept to program approval.
• Analyze and create alternative design concepts and resolve packaging and adaptation issues as vehicles progress toward production.
• Translate strategic and functional objectives into technical requirements and benchmark competitive vehicles.
• Utilize CAD tools (NX, TeamCenter, Vis Mockup) to create, manipulate, and present designs to stakeholders.
• Lead cross-functional teams, balancing design, performance, and manufacturing needs.
• Present ideas and design solutions to higher levels of management.

Qualifications

How to thrive in this role?

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (ABET-accredited or equivalent).
• 5+ years of experience in vehicle engineering (e.g., Body-in-White, Chassis, Powertrain, Electrical, or Interior Systems).
• Expertise in NX CAD Software, TeamCenter, and Vis Mockup.
• Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and global regions.
• Demonstrated ability to operate both independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Eligible for TN Visa (Canadian citizenship required).

Preferred qualifications

• Master’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Broad vehicle knowledge and stakeholder integration experience.
• Strong relationship-building and change management abilities.
• Skilled in presenting complex ideas and data to management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
