Position Title: Advanced Case Manager
Reports To: Manager, Advisor Care
Department: Individual Case Management
Term: Permanent Full-Time

Work Arrangements: You will work from your home office 100% of the time. You may be required to be in-person at our office in Waterloo, ON or another assigned location within the Waterloo Region, on an as-needed basis. Sales-related roles may require travel based on the assignment.

What you will be doing:

  • Reviewing, investigating, and resolving issues related to the input, underwriting, and issuance of large value cases.
  • Identifying unique high net worth Advisor needs to provide appropriate solutions.
  • Building, strengthening, and maintaining relationships with key Prestige Advisors and MGAs on large cases.
  • Serving as the point of contact for National Accounts, Large Case, and Prestige Advisors for escalations and concerns.
  • Proactively managing large value files requiring additional follow-ups.
  • Initiating communication and responding to inquiries via telephone/email, providing a white glove service experience to ultra-affluent Advisors.
  • Managing and maintaining a high volume of follow-ups daily, overseeing pending issues, and ensuring production targets are met and exceeded.
  • Independently managing and making decisions on complex cases.

What you will bring:

  • At least 1 year of experience overseeing Individual Case Management, preferably in the High Net Worth Market.
  • Thorough knowledge of both in-force and new business insurance operations.
  • Knowledge of complex/advanced case structures and underwriting requirements.
  • Superior organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Proactive attitude and initiative.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing, and dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Bilingual French/English skills are considered an asset.
