Job summary

CanWest Air is expanding its Northern Alberta air ambulance program and seeks experienced Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) to join our High Level and Fort Vermilion bases. This role supports 12-hour shifts within a 7 on / 14 off rotation, with full-time, part-time and casual opportunities available.

You will provide ACP-level patient care, deliver emergency and interfacility air transport, and collaborate with pilots, medical oversight, and allied healthcare teams in a growing aviation environment.

Qualifications

• Active ACP registration with Alberta College of Paramedics.
• Current PALS certification.
• Ability to operate within ACP scope in an aviation setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within ACP scope of practice and MCPs.
• Deliver emergency and interfacility air medical transport across Northern Alberta.
• Collaborate with Pilots, Communications, Medical Oversight and allied teams.
• Participate in a growing critical care and air medical transport environment.
• Operate safely and professionally in a dynamic aviation setting.

CanWest Air is growing and we are looking for experienced, motivated, and team-oriented Advanced Care Paramedics (ACP) to join our expanding Air Ambulance program in Northern Alberta.

Operating from bases in High Level and Fort Vermilion, our Flight Paramedics provide emergency and interfacility transport to remote and underserved communities across the region. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic aviation environment while practicing advanced medicine alongside a supportive and evolving team.

What You'll Do

• Provide patient care within ACP scope of practice and Alberta Medical Control Protocols (MCPs)
• Deliver emergency and interfacility air medical transport throughout Northern Alberta
• Work collaboratively with Pilots, Communications, Medical Oversight, and allied healthcare teams
• Participate in a growing critical care and air medical transport environment
• Operate safely and professionally in a dynamic aviation setting

Required Qualifications
