Job summary

Ambulance NB is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic for the Clinical Support Unit in Saint John, NB. This part-time permanent role involves rotating days and nights, with on-call coverage for weekends and holidays, and requires ACP registration with PANB and NB Class 4 licence.

You will provide on-scene and in-transit care and support specialized air and ground transport operations. Applicants must meet bilingual language requirements and be prepared to participate in ongoing clinical projects

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in Canada (citizenship/permanent resident/work permit)
• Active ACP registration with the Paramedic Association of New Brunswick (PANB)
• Possess valid NB Class 4 Driver's Licence (or equivalent)
• Willing to participate in pilot projects and community Paramedicine
• Immunization and health requirements up to date as applicable

Responsibilities

• Provide medical support to patients on scene and en route to hospitals.
• Apply emergency techniques and a range of medical treatments as required.
• Be the first on scene and remain on scene until the job is completed.
• Coordinate with dispatch and hospital teams to ensure patient care continuity.
