Job summary

Covenant Health in Banff is seeking an Advanced Care Paramedic to provide Life Support in emergency responses around Banff National Park. The role is covered by HSAA Paramedical Collective Agreement and includes temporary full-time status with a 16-week rotation.

Requirements include ACP registration, ACLS, a Class 4 license, and BLS Level C certification. Preferred extras include PALS, NRP, ITLS, and instructor qualifications, with security screening prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics as an Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP).
• ACLS provider certificate.
• Class 4 Driver's License and Driver's Abstract.
• Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (Level C) required.
• PALS, NRP, ITLS and instructor qualifications are preferred.

Required Qualifications:

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). International Trauma Life Support (ITLS). Instructor qualifications in any of the above preferred. Professional Driver Improvement Course (PDIC).
