Job summary

Acura of Hamilton in Hamilton, ON is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose, test and repair vehicle systems, using expert tools and OEM standards to ensure safety and performance. You will perform preventative maintenance, multi-point inspections, and repairs, mentor apprentices, and promote a safe, efficient shop environment.

A provincially recognized Journeyman Automotive Mechanic Certificate is required; Red Seal is an asset; valid driver's license is a must.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate required or in process.
• Experience with diagnostics and OEM standards.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, test, and repair vehicle systems per OEM standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance and multi-point inspections.
• Mentor apprentices and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate with advisors to manage repairs and customer updates.
