POSITION: Adult Services Librarian

DEPARTMENT: Library

SALARY: $23.87/hour starting step for non-MLIS degreed library ($25.07 starting step for MLIS degreed librarian)

UNION: Yes

HOURS: 40 hours week, including some evenings and rotating Sundays (reduced to 29 hours in July and August currently)

CLOSING: Resume review will begin by July 22, 2025

The Town of Middleton is seeking applicants for the full-time position of Adult Services for the Flint Public Library. The mission of the Flint is to inform, enrich, and empower every person in the community by creating and promoting easy access to a vast array of ideas and information, and by supporting an informed citizenry, lifelong learning and love of reading. MLS Degree or candidate enrolled in Master's Level program for Library Science and Information Technology preferred; At least three to five years as a professional librarian; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
