Job summary

Government of Nunavut, through Nunavut Arctic College in Kugluktuk, invites applications for an Adult Educator role. Reporting to the Manager, Community Programs, you will plan, organize, deliver and evaluate educational programming for adults in the community, providing instruction and instructional support across learning activities.

The successful candidate will identify and document adult learning needs and manage the Community Learning Centre environment to ensure quality educational

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in Canada.
• Experience delivering educational programming to adults (preferred).
• Ability to identify and document adult learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, deliver and evaluate educational programming for adults in the Kugluktuk community through Nunavut Arctic College.
• Provide instruction and instructional support to adult learners.
• Identify and document adult learning needs in the community.
• Manage and maintain the learning environment at the Community Learning Centre.

Salary range: $117,669 to $133,533 per year,37.5hours/week

Northern Allowance: $22,483 per year
