Client Overview:
Our client is a leading organization focused on leveraging advanced marketing technologies to drive omnichannel initiatives. They are looking for a skilled AEP Expert to help implement and optimize their Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) solution, ensuring seamless data management and supporting their marketing efforts.
Role Overview:
The AEP Expert will be responsible for managing the flow of data within the AEP platform, helping internal teams to execute effective omnichannel marketing initiatives. This role involves working closely with stakeholders across marketing, IT, and business teams to design and implement data strategies while ensuring compliance with security and privacy regulations. The expert will play a key role in ensuring that the AEP solution meets the highest technical standards, driving innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Governance and Management
- Define methods for ingesting and processing new data sources within AEP.
- Develop and implement strategies for data storage, processing, and activation (Data Lifecycle management).
- Ensure the technical design of pipelines (RT, NRT, batch) is aligned with best practices.
- Manage and optimize AEP connectors and ensure data producers follow best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to keep them informed on platform updates and limitations.
- Maintain dataflow structures within AEP, including connections, schemas, mapping, and encryption.
Platform Architecture and Governance
- Collaborate with the architect to implement the platform's data architecture in line with business needs.
- Lead the configuration of data schemas and implementation of data pipelines within AEP.
- Integrate AEP with other marketing, CRM, and advertising systems (e.g., SFMC, AWS, Azure).
- Ensure that data lifecycle and access are managed according to governance standards.
- Maintain and manage the schema of data, ensuring it evolves with business needs.
- Conduct quality checks and testing of data ingestion processes, working closely with the relevant teams to ensure accuracy.
Platform Performance and Optimization
- Monitor the performance of AEP and optimize compatibility with other internal tools (Adobe Suite, AWS, etc.).
- Stay updated on new AEP developments and industry best practices.
- Test and validate data flows end-to-end, ensuring data accuracy across all stages of the process.
- Collaborate with teams to propose and implement platform optimizations to meet future business needs.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience with Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP, AJO, Adobe Launch, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target).
- Strong skills in SQL, Python, REST APIs, and Git.
- Experience with cloud technologies and Big Data concepts (Kafka, AWS, ETL, Azure).
- Solid experience in data architecture, modeling, and governance.
- Familiarity with security standards and compliance regulations, particularly in data privacy.
