Job description

EBC thinks outside the box and deploys all its know-how to carry out major infrastructure projects: bridges, roads, highways, tunnels, marine installations.

Our ability to meet deadlines and budgets, along with our extensive expertise, allows us to participate in large-scale projects such as the Samuel-De-Champlain Bridge, the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM), and the Site C hydro-electric power station near Fort St-John, British Columbia.

Under the supervision of the Project Manager and Project Director, the Office Administrator will have the opportunity to assume important and diversified functions and responsibilities including:

  • Receiving visitors and correspondence at the office and directing them appropriately
  • Fulfilling requests related to office management and administrative tasks
  • Coordinating various executive meetings, including preparing necessary documents and/or presentations
  • Structuring and effectively maintaining a filing system
  • Ensuring monitoring and prioritization of tasks, as well as the quality of processes in place
  • Preparing, recording, and following up on payments of executive expense accounts
  • Handling correspondence requests such as writing letters and completing documentation
  • Coordinating and booking travel arrangements
  • Performing other duties related to this role

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a similar program, or relevant training and experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook applications
  • Knowledge of the construction industry
  • Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
