BASIS Independent Raleigh-Durham is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead campus admissions, events, and outreach starting January 2027. You will manage interviews, enrollment reports, and partnerships while collaborating with the VP of Admissions and Head of School.

Ideal candidates have at least 4 years in admissions or sales, a bachelor’s degree (marketing/communications preferred), and strong Microsoft Office skills. A competitive benefits package supports growth within our network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
• 4+ years relevant sales experience.
• 2-3 years admissions experience at top secondary or post-secondary institutions, preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Conduct interviews with prospective student families and evaluate needs to help families decide on attendance.
• Communicate the philosophy and features of the school to prospective families.
• Develop understanding of the school’s history, mission, and marketing materials to communicate effectively and support enrollment goals.
• Lead development of annual new student enrollment plans with VP of Admissions and Head of School.
• Coordinate campus tours and admissions events to ensure engaging experiences for families.
• Lead communications to prospective families via newsletters, content campaigns, and blogs; work with Communications Manager on calendar and social posts.
• Cultivate partnerships with feeder schools and manage external organizations for enrollment purposes.
