Job Details
Position Title: Admissions Advisor
Status: FT Support
Hours: 35 hours per week
Faculty/Department: Office of the Registrar
Campus/Location: One position at North Campus and one position at Lakeshore Campus – must be comfortable working hybrid, a minimum of three (3) days on-site.
Salary: FT Support Payband: F
Salary Range: $31.05 - $35.99
Starting Salary: $31.05
Progression through the payband is in accordance with the increments in the payband as outline in the Full-Time Support Staff Collective Agreement based on actual service in the payband.

The Office of the Registrar supports and celebrates student success. We provide students and the campus community with support through the distribution of key information, high-quality service delivery and the maintenance of essential systems and processes. About The Admissions Advisor Role
Under the direction of the Manager, Admissions, the Admissions Advisor provides overlapping front line support services for a broad range of initiatives in the Office of the Registrar. The primary role of this position will be focused on providing expert advice and assistance regarding Admissions related questions and processes for full and part-time students while providing general knowledge assistance in other areas as required. This position reports to the Manager, Admissions and will be assigned to work within a workgroup where day-to-day activities will be monitored by the workgroup lead for the area.
The Admissions Advisor must retain a wide range of knowledge on programs, courses, academic policies, Humber and Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) policies and procedures and Humber services. The incumbent at times may deal with sensitive and highly confidential information and communicate directly with prospective students, applicants, guidance counsellors, parents, faculty, administrators, and other authorized third-parties.

Education
Two (2) year diploma or equivalent within the field of Public Relations, Accounting, or Business.
