Job Summary:

Reporting to theProduct Manager, you will be responsible for supportingthe Merchandising Department’s business units by entering purchase orders and conducting follows-ups on purchase order status with internal clients. In addition, you may assist with special projects and perform other duties while showing interest in the product.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Enter, manage, and track purchase orders and follow up on product status with internal clients (e.g., Import, Quality Control, etc.);
  • Resolve purchase order exceptions, including pricing issues, lead time issues, missing information, etc.;
  • Establish and maintain documents and records in the appropriate files;
  • Produce reports, forms, and other materials as directed by the Product Manager;
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings;
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the product cycle calendar to ensure that deadlines are met;
  • Elevate and effectively communicate business-related issues to the Product Managers in a timely manner;
  • Assist with special projects and perform other duties as assigned;
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the brand.

Qualifications:

  • DEC in Fashion Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel);
  • Ability to enter a large volume of data with minimal errors;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems;
  • Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills;
  • Follow-through/follow-up skills;
  • Initiative/self-motivation;
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks within the required time frame in a highly interactive environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities;
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work in a team-based, participative environment;
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills;
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required for daily communication with suppliers, employees, and stakeholders, both within and outside of Quebec;
  • Clear communication skills, both written and spoken;
  • Passion for fashion.
