A reputable healthcare organization seeks an Administrative Support IV to provide specialized administrative support within the Data Integrity Team. The role involves managing complex procedures, utilizing advanced computer skills, and ensuring accuracy in patient information. Candidates should possess post-secondary education and relevant experience in the healthcare sector, alongside strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
As an Administrative Support IV, you will performed advanced administrative or specialized tasks to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.
Required Qualifications :
Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. course(s) in office of business administration, medical office assistant).
Additional Required Qualifications :
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite : i.e. Word, Teams, Excel, and Outlook. Experience utilizing multiple information systems in a medical environment is required. I.e. Millennium, Sunquest, Connect Care, Client Registry, NetCare and Quanum. Intermediate proficiency in keyboarding skills. Fully competent in various types of laboratory patient registration required; with a minimum 2 years of experience preferred and / or have 2 years of health information related experience. Sufficient knowledge in medical terminology. Advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills required. Good analytical and decision-making skills required. Extreme accuracy and attention to detail is required. Must have the ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet established turn-around times and work within deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to clearly convey information and questions to health care providers during remediation investigations. Ability to foster positive interpersonal skills with health care providers, professionals, peers, departmental management and patients. Ability to collaborate with others and to work independently through challenges. Ability to ethically balance business and client needs while maintaining data integrity. Ability to adhere to strict regional policies, procedures and legislated requirements regarding patient information.
Preferred Qualifications :
Post-secondary education relating to the job, such as laboratory assistant with registration background, unit clerk, health information management certificate or nursing or equivalent experience, 2-3 years health care related experience. Knowledge of Lab Information Systems and experience utilizing databases.
