Job Description
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient and staff safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. Continuous quality and safety improvements are inherent in all aspects of this position.
Reporting to the manager or designate (and Audiologist for hearing screening duties), the Admin Support Health Unit Aide provides clerical and administrative support using various computerized applications. Responsibilities include maintaining inventories, booking appointments, gathering client information, and scheduling and conducting vision and/or hearing screenings for preschool and school-aged children in school or clinic settings.
