Location: Dartmouth, NS
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Employment Term: Contract Hire Date - March 31, 2026 (possible yearly renewal), Full time hours (35 hours/ week) (Days and Evenings)
General Description:
The MNFC is looking for One (1) Admin Support – Front desk workerfor our office location at 2021 Brunswick St.This position will be full-time hours with evenings required. The front desk staff is responsible for providing a welcoming experience to people entering the friendship center and ensuring that proper procedures are followed for people coming in. The front desk staff is responsible forgreeting clients, directing phone calls, arranging couriers, and routing incoming mail.We are looking for a dynamic employee who will support a cultural environment for all guests and bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for an individual to perform the following duties:
  • Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries or direct calls to appropriate staff members
  • Administrative tasks such as filing, printing, and faxing
  • Excellent personal organization and time management
  • Working knowledge of computers (word, excel, internet, ordering systems)
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and implement new ideas
  • Knowledge of and ability to follow safety standards
  • Capable of handling pressure, making decisions and adapting to new situations
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for guests
Qualifications:
