We are hiring an Administrative Support professional for a 3-month contract within the Government of Alberta, starting ASAP. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and confident managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and distribute meeting materials and agendas
  • Take accurate, action-focused meeting minutes for senior-level meetings
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and logistics for multiple team members
  • Handle office operations: ordering supplies, coordinating deliveries, tracking approvals
  • Maintain records and documents, including SharePoint version control
  • Process invoices, track expenses, and support basic finance coordination
  • Assist with onboarding and general administrative tasks
  • Track action items and ensure follow-up is completed

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong administrative experience supporting leaders or committees is required. Previous experience in the Government of Alberta is an asset.
  • Previous minute-taking experience (Board or senior-level minutes required)
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word and Excel skills
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable working with digital files and systemsAble to work independently, ask clarifying questions, and follow directions accurately
  • Highly organized, detail-focused, and reliable
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
