Job description

Our client, a large oil & gas company, has an opening for an Accounts Payable/Field Production Administrative Supervisor in their Whitecourt, AB office. The successful candidate will provide support to the organization by managing multiple tasks within a team setting. This role acts as a representative of the office and builds effective working relationships across the organization. The candidate will also develop, implement, and maintain administrative systems to support the team, and serve as a general point of contact. Applicants must reside in the Whitecourt area as no accommodations are provided.

Responsibilities and Performance Objectives:
  1. Support and develop a team of administrative professionals
  2. Provide financial and administrative support to the organization
  3. Oversee invoice processing in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  4. Review and ensure the accuracy of employee timecards and labour allocation
  5. Provide operating and capital cost reporting
  6. Gather and review monthly production data
  7. Review volume variance reports
  8. Ensure flared and/or vented gas volumes are submitted to Production Accounting by Field Operations
  9. Communicate with internal & external stakeholders
  10. Perform general office administration as required
Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of administrative experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with programs such as:
    • JD Edwards (Enterprise One)
    • Open Invoice (ADP)
    • UKG
    • PM Suite/Production Tracker
