Position Summary
Cranbrook Urgent & Primary Care has an exciting opportunity for a permanent part time (0.83FTE) Administrative Services Assistant to join their Team!

Position Information:
This is a permanent part time (0.83FTE) position working rotating days and evening shifts. This position qualifies for a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation and sick leave.

What Will You Work On?
In this role you will perform a variety of reception, administrative and Health Unite Aide support duties including:
  1. Data entry including gathering, organizing, collecting, collating and verifying information, typing correspondence
  2. Preparing presentations, arranging meetings, transcribing minutes, booking travel, and record management
  3. Scheduling and confirming client appointments as well as receiving, recording and checking balances of cash transactions
  4. Maintaining and cleaning medical/surgical supplies, equipment and HCIS resource material
  5. Cleaning, setting up and dismantling rooms, cleaning/sanitizing toys and equipment
  6. Weighing and measuring babies, calibrating equipment, vision screenings

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
  1. Grade 12
  2. Certificate from a recognized office administration certificate program, plus
  3. One year recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  4. Current valid BC Driver’s License.
  5. Ability to type at 40 wpm.
