Your Opportunity

Our BDO office is looking for an Administrative Professional to join the Personal Debt Solutions team in-office. You will support our Centre of Excellence by assisting clients in fulfilling their obligations under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act and own the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing, formatting, and proofreading court reports and other legal documents.
  • Liaise effectively with internal staff and external parties, including legal professionals and court representatives.
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of reports and documentation.
  • Organize and maintain digital files in compliance with confidentiality requirements.
  • Coordinate with management to prioritize tasks and manage workload efficiently.
  • Support the preparation of court documents for hearings, meetings, and filings.
  • Provide general administrative support, including scheduling, email correspondence, and data entry.

Your Experience And Education

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to liaise effectively with staff and outside parties.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Post-secondary education with a legal background is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience in Insolvency or Personal Debt Solutions, particularly with the Toronto Bankruptcy Court, is an asset but not required.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated skills in time management, organization, and prioritization.
  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to work independently.
  • Maintains professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
