Job description

The dynamic administrative support team at Marcus & Millichap Vancouver seeks a new team member to join our innovative, collaborative team. We’re seeking a personable, professional individual who will serve as a great first impression for our clients and visitors, and who desires a stable, professional office environment that offers growth and challenge. Ideal candidates are passionate about customer service, eager to improve themselves and the team, and committed to contributing to the office’s success.

Position Details

The Administrative Assistant is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly), in-office position—remote work is not available.

We will provide training and support for your growth. Commercial real estate is fast-paced; bring a mindset of "no job too big or small."

Key Responsibilities
  1. Learn real estate transaction administrative support, including using Marcus & Millichap's proprietary software to assist agents throughout transactions.
  2. Manage front office operations, including reporting facilities issues, maintaining supplies, and preparing sales meeting presentations.
  3. Support your team and the wider office with various tasks such as software training, troubleshooting, and special projects.
  4. Participate in a training program to support new sales agents, staff, and management, typically a few months into the role.
  5. Represent the Vancouver office during firmwide tech launches and onsite application support.
Qualifications
  1. Intermediate computer skills: MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  2. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including proofreading and editing.
  3. A quick learner who enjoys working with software and technology.
  4. Excellent soft skills: collaborative, proactive, approachable, eager to learn and grow.
  5. Attention to detail, reliability, punctuality, and responsibility ownership.
  6. 2+ years of administrative experience preferred; experience training others is a plus.
  7. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus.
  8. Competency in office and software skills will be tested.
Advancement Opportunities

Participants can enroll in Marcus & Millichap’s Certified Agent Support Specialist program within the first few months, with the opportunity to earn the certification.
