Position Summary
Serve as a key member of the Office of the Senior Vice President (SVP) for Global Enrollment Management and Student Success (GEMSS), responsible for the coordination of key activities and functions of the office. Provide administrative partnership and direction for the SVP's strategic planning initiatives and data-driven plans, all scheduling, the office's budget and financial planning, and special projects as assigned. Manage and advise the SVP and office staff on day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and effectiveness, maintaining confidentiality, and optimizing use of available resources. Interact and coordinate with the heads of the division and monitor linkages with the SVP and other senior administrative officers to ensure responsiveness. Oversee all ongoing projects supporting the SVP's agenda to ensure that all are effectively moving according to planned objectives, established milestones, and measurement criteria. Serve as the lead to develop internal and external communications on behalf of the SVP and manage events planning when appropriate.
Qualifications
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
5+ years of relevant project management and administrative experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience supervising office operations, developing and implementing office policies, and administering budgets and operations.
Preferred Experience:
2+ years experience working in a higher-education environment.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong organizational and project management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the demonstrated ability to develop and sustain effective relationships in support of organizational goals. Ability to work and communicate with diverse internal and external stakeholders in individual and group settings. Excellent written, verbal communication and visual presentation skills. Strong proficiency with Microsoft suite products and other presentation software platforms. Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, maintain confidentiality, discretion, and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $90,000.00 to USD $110,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
