The successful candidate will support the Director, Country Regional Management. The successful candidate will be accountable for performing a variety of administrative and support services, as directed by senior management.

This is a temporary position for a period of twelve (12) months with the possibility of an extension based on business needs.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate appointment calendars, meeting logistics and assist in the preparation of meeting agendas and discussion documents.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodations for various staff.
  • Support financial processes by compiling budget data, generating reports, and analyzing variances, including EFT and P&L monitoring.
  • Prepare, edit, and format various documents, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Maintain filing systems and ensure compliance with records retention policies.
  • Assist with compiling budget data, running reports, identifying variances and determining variance explanations. May also monitor EFT and Profit & Loss reporting.
  • Monitor and purchase office supplies as needed, sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain office equipment.
  • Contribute to small departmental initiatives and help bring ideas to life.

What you bring to our team

  • Computer proficient with demonstrated ability in the use of spreadsheet, databases, communication, and word processing software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet deadlines.
  • Minimum of four (4) years in an administrative support role.
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education, as well as an administrative/business office certificate or Certificate of Administration
