About The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director of Integrated Access & Flow Network Health Beyond Hospital (HBH), the Administrative Assistant provides full confidential administrative support as well as effectively responding to the needs of CNS team members. Primary responsibilities include dealing with sensitive and confidential information; responding to inquiries, preparing correspondence; scheduling meetings; drafting agendas, recording, transcribing and distributing minutes; maintaining databases among other duties.

The position supports all administrative activities, adhering to procedures and guidelines to enable consistency and standardization across the portfolios. Responsibilities include organization, prioritization and coordination, overseeing project plans and milestones, and timelines and communicating areas of variance to leadership.

The Administrative Assistant exhibits sound professional judgment and initiative while demonstrating commitment to NSH strategic directions and continuous quality improvement.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

  • Post-Secondary diploma in a recognized office administration, business administration or secretarial program
  • Undergraduate degree an asset
  • International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) certification is an asset
  • Minimum of five (5) years' of progressively responsible experience, providing administrative support and office coordination at the executive level, preferably within a healthcare setting
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, high degree of tact, judgment and confidentially
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated competencies requiring advanced skills and abilities in all facets of modern office practices and technology and with information and meeting technologies.
  • Ability to deal with a variety of contacts and large volumes of information, both in electronic and hard copy format
  • Ability to organize and coordinate, while being attentive to detail
  • Frequent and prolonged use of technology
  • Ability to work under pressure with regular time constraints
  • Environment can be stressful, with a high level of mental and visual concentration required due to an environment where frequent interruptions, multiple priorities, deadlines and concurrent activities are the norm
  • Competencies in other languages an asset, French preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

$25.63 - $32.24 hourly
