As an Administrative Assistant within CBI Home Health, you will help be the face and voice of this accredited, innovative community health care organization providing high-quality services throughout the Hamilton and surrounding area. This position is based in our Simcoe (Norfolk County) office and is a temporary (contract) full-time, in office position working with a great team. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm.

As An Administrative Assistant, You Will

  • Direct incoming calls received, and document as needed
  • Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
  • Utilize scheduling software
  • Pulls information used for appointments, file charts, reports and other correspondence
  • Enters and tracks client data and client information changes
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Perform general office duties and provide administrative support to leadership team
  • Assist team with program requirements

What You Need To Be Successful

  • You hold a post-secondary diploma in Medical Office Administration or equivalent administrative work experience, Medical Terminology an asset
  • You have intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a publishing program (e.g., Microsoft Publisher)
  • You have previous experience in a medical office using scheduling software
  • You have attention to detail paired with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You have a professional customer service attitude
  • You have a creative approach with a can-do attitude
  • You have effective problem-solving skills
  • You have flexible availability to include a biweekly weekend rotation
