Temporary Full Time
Salary Range: $31.74 - $37.35 /hour

This temporary full-time position is expected to extend until March 16, 2026, and is subject to the availability of work.

The Administrative Assistant will report to and provide clerical and administrative support to the Director of Quality, Transformation and Innovation. The role includes coordinating schedules, meetings, agendas, minute-taking, payroll, document management, presentation prep, room bookings, and managing grievance files. The assistant will liaise with internal staff and external consultants for ongoing projects.

Essential Qualifications
  • Graduate of a two-year post-secondary diploma in office administration.
  • Minimum two years recent administrative experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including: 60 wpm typing, advanced Excel and Word, intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams skills.
  • Superior customer service skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
  • Motivated, creative, with good problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to handle multiple demands.
  • Willing to learn and embrace new ideas.
  • Discretion and judgment in handling confidential information.
  • Knowledge of Safety Culture in Healthcare and compliance with OHSA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in healthcare.
Teaching and Research

As part of St. Joseph's Health Care London, affiliated with Western University and Fanshawe College, engagement in teaching and research activities is expected.

Immunization Requirements
  • Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, Hepatitis B, COVID-19, and influenza.
  • Documentation of Tuberculosis skin testing.
