Responsibilities

Revolution is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant to support our Production department in Bashaw, AB. This flexible role requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week and involves working closely with the Plant Manager on daily operations, while also providing administrative support across multiple departments. We’re looking for a proactive, adaptable team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to our ongoing success.

  • Develop and update spreadsheets to track, and analyze reports required by the team.
  • Accounts payables - managing local invoices and preparing them for payment.
  • Accounts receivable – tracking POs, invoices, and payments.
  • Review, track, prepare, and submit employee timesheets for payments.
  • Support HR Manager with onboarding new hires and preparing documents.
  • Complete accurate work orders and Bill of Ladings.
  • Ensure accurate completion of high-level accounts with urgency.
  • Maintain supplies inventory by communicating with appropriate vendors.
  • Answer phone calls, and support vendor visits.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as filing, copying, scanning, etc.
  • Completes all operational requirements by using time-management skills to expedite daily workload.
  • Maintain physical and digitized records for easy updating and retrieval by authorized team members.
  • Establish efficient workflow processes, monitor daily productivity, and implement modifications to improve overall effectiveness.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Experience working in an administrative or similar role is required.
  • Proficient computer skills in relevant software systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks by priority and to adjust priorities based on changing situations.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as accept direction on given assignments.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Availability to work a consistent Monday–Friday schedule, with a minimum of 4 hours per day and some flexibility as needed.
