Salary range: $41,966.21 to $46,954.52 annually

What you will be doing

As part of the Facilities Department, the Administrative Assistant will:

  • Provide confidential day-to-day administrative and organizational support to the Facilities Manager.
  • Provide a full range of administrative support services.
  • Manage the day-to-day administrative activities and support functions of the office. This includes logistical planning for meetings, calendar management, record keeping, file management, project support, coordinating special events, room bookings, liaising with internal and external communities, and other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications and Occupational Experience:

  • The minimum educational qualification is a postsecondary certificate or diploma in Business or Office Administration, combined with at least two years of recent, relevant experience in a fast-paced office environment. Alternatively, a recognized equivalency of a high school diploma with significant (10) years of administrative experience.
  • Experience in a facilities management environment is an asset.
  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Excel, SharePoint, and Office 365.
  • Comfortable working in a digital environment, with a responsibility for advancing technological skills and tools.
