Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Employment Services Manager, the Administrative Assistant III will provide quality clerical support through effective communication, organization, and technical skills. Duties include, but are not limited to: front reception, clerical support, responding to and directing public inquiries, arranging travel, booking client appointments, organizing meetings, developing and maintaining spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have a certificate or diploma in Office Education, Office Administration, business college training, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel, Outlook, mail merge, and other computer skills is essential. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively with staff and external agencies, possess a strong understanding of Métis culture, and have excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Term: September 1, 2025 – March 31, 2029 (after successful completion of probation)
Remuneration: As per GDI AA 3 salary grid
