About Us

Cameco is one of the largest global providers of the uranium fuel needed to energize a clean-air world. The Role

The Cameco supply chain management team is looking for a talented individual to provide general administrative support to the team. This role will support the various functions in the group including procurement, SCM governance and integration, logistics and facilities.

In this role, you will:

  • Complete reporting, data entry, document creation/management, filing, arranging meetings, arranging travel as well as other general administrative duties
  • Be responsible for department SAP support which includes processing requisitions, reconciliation of invoices, and reporting
  • Support others in the department as required and could be utilized as a resource for projects and new department initiatives with increasing responsibility
  • Provide backup support for the Executive Assistant

Required:

  • One- or two-year business or administrative diploma
  • Minimum two years of relevant office experience
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, requirement to adhere to corporate standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong propensity for technology and ability to learn systems quickly, self-starter
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, SAP and Adobe Acrobat
