The Opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Administrative Assistant provides support to the Division of Rheumatology, including:

  • Transcribing documents, compiling statistics, reconciling financial ledgers
  • Managing medical student rotations, scheduling, organizing meetings and travel clinics
  • Handling correspondence, data entry, filing, and ordering supplies

Hours of Work

70 hours bi-weekly. Exact hours to be determined.

Your Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Graduate of a recognized Office Administration Program required
  • Minimum 6 months related experience, 1 year preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Typing speed minimum 40 wpm, 60 wpm preferred
  • Experience scheduling appointments and meetings
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills
  • Experience with medical education programs, Dalhousie systems, SAP, and graphic design are assets
  • Commitment to Family Centered Care and continuous learning
