Administrative Assistant at ARSH CARRIERS INC

Location: Calgary, AB T3J 0E7
Salary: $28.90 hourly / 35 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
Work Schedule: Day, Evening, Morning, Night, Overtime, Weekend

Responsibilities

  1. Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
  2. Determine and establish office procedures and routines
  3. Schedule and confirm appointments
  4. Manage contracts
  5. Answer electronic enquiries
  6. Compile data, statistics and other information
  7. Oversee the preparation of reports
  8. Order office supplies and maintain inventory
  9. Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants
  10. Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures
  11. Oversee payroll administration
  12. Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  13. Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
  14. Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
  15. Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material and co-ordinate the flow of information
  16. Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
  17. Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
  18. Conduct research
  19. Perform data entry
  20. Provide customer service
  21. Work with the marketing department to understand and communicate marketing messages to the field
