About The Opportunity

As an Administrative Assistant, you will support staff and members of the AcSB. In doing so, you’ll be an integral part of a team of professionals dedicated to ensuring that social and environmental matters are reflected in the decisions of capital markets and others.
The position offers the flexibility of remote work or a more traditional work option based out of any of CPA Canada's offices in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto or Vancouver. Periodic travel is required. The targeted annual salary range for this role is $60,800 to $68,000 and is commensurate with experience.
About The Opportunity
What you'll do
In This Role, You Will:
- Help manage the production and distribution of Board and Committee volunteer meeting materials
- Create and edit documents and correspondence and ensure priority matters are dealt with on a timely basis
- Coordinate meeting and event arrangements including negotiating contracts and supporting webinars
- Format Microsoft Word and PowerPoint documents
- Monitor multiple shared e-mail mailboxes
- Manage the shared department calendar and support staff and Chair calendar management as needed
- Update AcSB reporting documents and website content including data collection and analysis
- Liaise with key senior-level external contacts and staff
- Nurture relationships with the volunteers
- Proofread materials and minute taking of Committees
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Post-secondary university degree in Business or equivalent experience and education
- 3 to 5 years of administrative experience
- Project management experience
- Exceptional organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with superior verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office; particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent proofreading ability with a keen eye for detail
- Full fluency in English is required
- Bilingualism in French and English is preferred
