This posting is to fill one (1) six (6) month casual position working 75 hours bi-weekly. Temporary Assignments may be equally considered.

About the Branch :

The Infrastructure Development Branch (IDB) manages the planning designing and construction for numerous types of infrastructure projects for the territory. IDB supports infrastructure development initiatives for First Nations municipalities and unincorporated Yukon through project management and fund management.

About the Position :

The Infrastructure Development Branch is looking for a self-motivated strong team player who thrives in a busy work environment with good judgment and a professional approach. In this role you will support our daily operations by handling communications and maintaining office organization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented able to multitask and possesses excellent communication and computer skills.

Essential Qualifications

  • Postsecondary coursework in office administration or a related field.
  • Experience providing administrative support and / or reception services.
  • Experience using a wide variety of computer programs applications or software such as computerized financial systems (Quest and / or Front End Financial) Microsoft Office and / or other computer programs.
  • Experience in working with recordswould be considered as an asset.
  • Experience working with Yukon government database systems (Quest FMIS Front End People Soft etc.) would be an asset.

Candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience may be equally considered.
