Job Opportunity: Administrative Assistant 2 - PRIYD

About Our Opportunity:

Working within the mission, vision, values, and person-centred philosophy of the Agency, the Administrative Assistant 2 is responsible for ensuring the administrative needs of the program are met efficiently and supportively. This role includes providing direct administrative coordination and support, actively promoting diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities:
  1. Administration: Manage the administrative aspects of the program, support all administrative tasks including correspondence, reports, data entry, and maintaining client files.
  2. System Support: Provide database and clerical support, analyze data, maintain client spreadsheets, and identify database efficiencies.
  3. Financial Support: Monitor petty cash, process invoices, assist staff with expense claims, and reconcile program purchases.
  4. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with safety standards, update manuals, and attend safety meetings.
  5. Quality Assurance: Collect and analyze client and stakeholder feedback for program review and improvement.

Work Details:
  • Full-time, 35 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 9:00-5:00.
  • Location: 1638 E Broadway, Vancouver BC, with some remote work possible.
  • Salary: GS7 Step 1 $25.07/hour.
Qualifications:
  • Grade 12 diploma plus 2 years post-secondary education in business or administration, with 3 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of Windows applications, database management, MS Access, Excel, Word, and SharePoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to diversity and ethical conduct.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.
