Position Information
Reporting to the Manager of Occupational Health, the Administrative Assistant will be an integral part of the Wellness Clinic for staff and Medical Staff. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative duties related to the Wellness Clinic for staff and medical staff. Duties include booking / checking in of clients for appointments, processing point-of-sale payments for fees, supply management, booking follow up appointments and managing the schedule of eight plus Family Medicine MDs.
Rotation/Shifts
Days, evening and weekends, 8 hour and 4 hour shifts.
What You Will Bring
- College diploma in a related discipline;
- Minimum two (2) year clerical experience;
- Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint, MS Bookings,
- Knowledge and experience with EPIC (EMR);
- Knowledge of hospital policies, rules and regulations;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times;
- Ability to communicate and deal congenially with people;
- Ability to organize, administer, and maintain paper and electronic systems and databases;
- Ability to prioritize workload to meet changing and tight deadlines as well as regulatory requirements;
- Ability to communicate in both official languages (preferred but not essential);
- Ability to pay close attention to detail when generating or reviewing communications, reports and other documents;
- Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary meetings and record minutes;
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
