Position purpose :

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer II, the successful candidate will assist with and perform a variety of tasks to support the administrative operations of a department, program or event, ensuring compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

In this role, your responsibilities will include :

  • Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, document drafting, schedule management, and mail handling to support departmental operations.
  • Organizing and coordinating meetings and events, including reserving rooms, arranging catering, and preparing agendas and documents.
  • Supporting financial operations by managing petty cash, deposits, journal entries, invoicing, and payments.
  • Generating reports to support operations and strategic planning.
  • Maintaining effective records management systems, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Drafting and updating internal documents related to procedures and processes.

What you will bring :

  • Postsecondary education in administration and office technology, with courses in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience.
  • Basic accounting and finance skills.
  • Proficiency with Windows, MS Office, internet, and email.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
